Still owned and run by the Morgan family, Melville Morgan offers a full range of funeral services in NI. Our experienced and professional staff are available to guide you at any point, many of whom have been working here for many years.

We remain a locally-owned independent family business. We do not work under pressure to meet targets or satisfy the requirements of large company shareholders. Rather, we are motivated to provide the best professional service possible, tailored to the needs of every individual family we deal with, at fair and competitive prices.

Meet the team

With a close family unit at the helm, the business rebranded in 2017 as ‘Melville Morgan.’  The family remain keen to keep the public aware that whilst we have a number of branches, ours is still a family firm, with our family values at the core of all that we do.  In this regard we are unique in our service offering, as we are the largest independent funeral directors in the greater Belfast area.

Raymond Morgan, Chairman of the John Morgan Group, has overseen Melvilles since its acquisition.  His son in law Nick Berryman now runs the business, assisted by Raymond’s daughter Rosemary-Anne and nephew David Dunlop  on the Board of Directors.
